Mart® views waste as a missed opportunity. That’s why it has partnered with Waste to Wonder, to give unwanted office furniture a new purpose. Waste to Wonder has been redistributing office furniture and equipment togood causes around the world for over twenty years.

To-date, Waste to Wonder has equipped over 1,400 schools in 40 countriesthrough their School in a Box programme. Last year alone, they diverted over 2,500 tons of equipment from landfill and donated furniture worth over US$5 million to great causes around the world. On average 97% of the used workplace furniture they receive is reused, 3% is recycled, and zero goes to landfill.

Mart® kicked off this initiative by clearing out its own Dubai warehouse, with the first shipment now delivered to a school in Ghana. This partnership promises significant environmental benefits and exceptional sustainability outcomes. Most importantly, young people in disadvantagedcommunities around the world will see the benefits.
